Expo City Dubai announces first off-plan buildings with pricing from Dh1.2m

Dubai: The first freehold sales of residential apartments at Expo City Dubai start at Dh1.2 million and go up from there. The City's initial phase, which hosted the 6-month Expo event, was solely for the rental market.

The new Expo Valley and Expo Central developments constitute the first phase of Dubai's '2040 Urban Master Plan project.

"The same - and more - may be expected from these exciting new initiatives," said Ahmed Al Khatib, Chief Development and Delivery Officer of Expo City Dubai. "Expo Central and Expo Valley will reinvent sustainable urban living by taking what you enjoyed about Expo 2020 Dubai and transforming it into pleasant, linked communities with a common goal of giving back more than they receive."

Expo Valley, which will be located close to the main World Expo site, will have car-free roads as well as designated tracks for bicycles and e-scooters. The first phase has 165 apartments, with prices starting at Dh 3.4 million for 5-bedroom villas, 4- and 5-bedroom duets (semi-detached villas), and 3- and 4-bedroom townhouses.

There are three apartment clusters in all. The Mangrove Residences will be the first cluster to emerge, with its three towers giving views of Al Wasl Plaza and Jubilee Park.
